London Euston is named after Euston Hall in Suffolk, the home of the Dukes of Grafton. Opened in 1837, it is currently one of 19 country's stations managed by Network Rail.
London Euston is the 6th busiest railway station in Britain, the most active UK's inter-city railway, and the West Coast Main Line's southern terminus. The Euston station serves trains from London to West Midlands, North West England, Wales, and Scotland. Intercity passenger services are operated by Avanti West Coast, and overnight trains are operated by the Caledonian Sleeper. |
