Glasgow Central is one of Glasgow, Scotland's two major rail terminals. Opened in 1879 by the Caledonian Railway, it is managed by Network Rail.

Scotland's Glasgow Central Railway Station is one of two mainline rail terminals in Glasgow. In 1879, the Caledonian Railway opened the station, one of 20 that Network Rail manages today. The station is located along the West Coast Main Line (397 miles north of London Euston) and is considered a northern terminus. In addition to serving Glasgow's primary intercity route to England, the central railway station also serves the Greater Glasgow area's southern suburbs and the Ayrshire and Clyde coasts.
