CARDIFF CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION

Cardiff Central Railway Station is the principal station on the South Wales Main Line in Cardiff. It's one of twenty rail stations in the city and one of two in the city center, which runs trains to all of Wales and other major British cities.

Cardiff Central is a modern train station boasting essential facilities and providing high-speed trains. Three companies operate the services: Transport of Wales Rail Limited, Great Western Railway, and CrossCountry.

HOW TO GET TO CARDIFF CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION?

  • TAXI: taking a taxi is always the most time-saving and pleasant way to get to or from the railway station. Taxi rank is on the right as you exit the main station entrance.
  • ​WALK: if you are eager to take a walk along Cardiff's streets on your way to the station, it will take about 3 minutes from the Water Tower, and 5 minutes from the Principality Stadium.
