Birmingham New Street Railway Station is the busiest and the largest of the three main stations in Birmingham, England. Opened in 1854, the Station is an important British Rail hub connecting numerous cities in England and Scotland. Train services from Birmingham New Street are operated by Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, West Midlands Trains, and Transport for Wales.
Apart from being an important station, the building itself boasts a brand new architectural design. It was redeveloped between 2010 and 2015, and there was made a vast concourse with a domed atrium to let in natural light and new entrances with attractive facades. |
