# Britain Rails — Rail Ninja Affiliate Guide to UK Train Travel > britainrails.com is an English-language, Tilda-hosted affiliate content site covering rail travel across England, Scotland, Wales, and (despite its name) one cross-border Ireland/Northern Ireland route. It provides region hub pages, 7 train-operator guides, 2 class pages, station guides, and 46+ route pages, funneling all bookings to Rail Ninja (rail.ninja) via UTM-tagged affiliate links. This site does not own or operate any trains in Britain. It is an independent informational guide; all ticket bookings are handled by the third-party affiliate partner Rail Ninja (rail.ninja), not by britainrails.com itself. ## Data quality note Verification covered all region/index hub pages, all 7 train-operator pages, both class pages, 10 station pages, and 20 of 46+ route pages (representative major corridors across England, Scotland, Wales, and the one Ireland route, plus 4 Scotland routes that exist live but aren't linked from the homepage). Remaining routes are listed by URL only and are unverified — confirm live figures before quoting. The standout, systemic issue on this site (full detail in llms-full.txt): - **Daily departure counts are wildly inconsistent between directions of the same route, on nearly every pair checked** — not a minor rounding gap but often a 3-5x difference: London↔Edinburgh (74 vs. 227), London↔Glasgow (15 vs. 75), Glasgow↔Edinburgh (234 vs. 346), London↔Bath (12 vs. 53), Glasgow↔Fort William (14 vs. 3). The "longest journey time" figure (presumably including connections) is similarly erratic between directions in several of these same pairs (e.g. Glasgow→Edinburgh "up to 8h35m" vs. Edinburgh→Glasgow "up to 1h43m" for a 75 km trip). - Two station pages have a copy-paste address error: Liverpool Lime Street's page lists its address as "Liverpool St, London EC2M 7PY" (London Liverpool Street's actual postcode), and the Cambridge station page's address field literally reads "Piccadilly Station, Manchester M1 2WD" — Manchester Piccadilly's address, copied wholesale onto the Cambridge page. - The London↔Cardiff route page self-contradicts on its own departure station: the stats block says departures are from London Euston, but the body text says "GWR train company offers about 65 daily departures from London Paddington to Cardiff Central" — GWR operates from Paddington in reality, so Euston appears to be the error. - The site is branded "Britain Rails" but includes a Dublin↔Belfast route, which crosses from the Republic of Ireland into Northern Ireland — outside Great Britain (England/Scotland/Wales) despite the site's branding and scope statements. - The `/britain-trains` hub page names operators (Grand Central Railway, West Midlands Railway, TransPennine Express) that have no dedicated operator page on this site, while `/railway-stations` names stations (Cardiff Central, Aberdeen, Brighton, Oxford, Inverness, Bristol Temple Meads, Birmingham New Street, York) with no dedicated station page in the site's navigation. - The Wales hub page's route content is thin: it features only the single Cardiff↔London pair, despite Wales nominally being one of the site's three regional pillars alongside England and Scotland. - FAQ accordion answers are hidden behind Tilda's JS widget across every page type; only question headers could be retrieved, as on every other site in this network. ## Regions - [Trains of Britain](https://www.britainrails.com/britain-trains): Overview of 25+ UK train operators; links to operator pages, routes, classes, and stations. - [England Trains](https://www.britainrails.com/england-trains): England-specific hub;
